The cable man

We know that Peter Meyer, the clubable Osterville guy who runs The Cape Cod Times, doesn't like the Cape Wind project, but his paper's page one graphic Friday saying that a Cape Wind cable would be 7 3/4 feet high rather than the truth -- 7 3/4 inches high -- takes the cake.

Did his editors really believed that a cable that thick would actually be laid in the shallow sound? In any event, you'll enjoy the comparison with the Chinese basketball player!

Walter Brooks of CapeCodToday.com inevitably had a field day with the Times on this.
