We know that Peter Meyer, the clubable Osterville guy who runs The Cape Cod Times, doesn't like the Cape Wind project, but his paper's page one graphic Friday saying that a Cape Wind cable would be 7 3/4 feet high rather than the truth -- 7 3/4 inches high -- takes the cake. Did his editors really believed that a cable that thick would actually be laid in the shallow sound? In any event, you'll enjoy the comparison with the Chinese basketball player! Walter Brooks of CapeCodToday.com inevitably had a field day with the Times on this. |
